Transkei – The Road To Independence
This film misinforms the deeply troubled Republic of Transkei as an economically stable region with a flourishing industry and educational system. Includes footage of a huge stadium gathering on the day it became a nominally independent state in October, 1976 with addresses by South African prime minister John Vorster and the long-term leader of Transkei, Kaiser Matanzima.
